Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department of NPHRI has very senior surgeons who have long experience in reconstruction surgery.

Plastic surgical procedures like correction of birth defects , soft tissue reconstruction after trauma, post lymphedema cosmetic correction surgery, alongside department of general surgery and orthopaedics Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department of NPHRI work to treat soft tissue defects and wounds. These include rotating tissue from one area to another to cover defects in soft tissue.
